Arizona Palms Motel, 3725 E. Van Buren St. circa late-1950s

This motel is now called Western Lodge and has a totally different sign. But the buildings are the same, with the arched porticos still evident. Seems some of the palm trees got the axe, and the pink pool-slide is gone, but if you look closely you'll find the old shuffleboard court still in front of the pool. Click here for current view.
